Krishna Kumar

Asian Studies

Krishna Kumar is a PhD student in the Department of Asian Studies at the University of British Columbia. His research focuses on the history of political and social formations in early modern South Asia, particularly in eastern Rajasthan. His broader fields of interest include urbanization, labor, caste, and regional history within early modern global paradigms. He works with archival materials in Persian and Hindavi.
