Bio: Hasan Siddiqui is an Assistant Professor of South Asian History in the Department of Asian Studies at UBC. He is an intellectual historian specializing early modern South Asia.
Research Statement: Hasan is interested in the history of political thought as it emerges in the Mughal empire and among its antagonists from the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries.
